Story of Justice

  • NATIONAL MUSEUM OF WOMEN IN THE ART Washington, DC (map)

One year after the 50th anniversary of In re Gault,
the U.S. Supreme Court decision that affirmed children's right to counsel, the National Juvenile Defender Center is continuing to commemorate the legacy of Gault by honoring the voices, experiences, and stories of young people who shoulder the burden of an unfair
"justice" system — and who embody the resilience, grace, and power
to march ahead.
